Ironically, after having spent most of my life in education, I moved on from job to job, ranging from pig and potato farming to bank clerk. The last job paid for one year's tuition at The London Academy of Performing Arts on their One Year Postgraduate Acting Course. Stage work has included spear carrying in JULIUS CAESAR and RICHARD III for the RSC, directed by Sir Peter Hall and Steve Pimlott, respectively. Touring a workshop based upon MACBETH round the country for Bitesize Theatre Company. Being John the Baptist in the first Passion play on Clapham Common, playing five different characters in the COINERS OF CRAGG VALE. And twenty-one different characters in a tour of CANTERBURY TALES. Film work has included various low budget and student films, including work for The National Film and Television School, The London International Film School, Bournemouth Arts Institute, Stink, Skyman Films, Epiphamy Productions and The Northern Film School, whose RIGHTS OF PASSAGE was previewed before the new Michael Winterbottom film: IN THIS WORLD at the Turkish and Kurdish Film Festival. Recently, I was a journalist in the new Brit Flick: THE KALCIUM KID starring Orlando Bloom. Also, I have particularly enjoyed devising the student workshops and look forward to playing at Hoghton Tower.
